Residential Haunting Investigation

Family and Site History
A young couple, along with their daughters, and one of the owner's brothers, occupy the home. All of the occupants claim to have experienced different types of paranormal phenomena including:
- Visual: The occupants have witnessed shadows, orbs (visual to the naked eye), and believe they have also seen the apparition of a man wearing a hat.
- Audio: Residents have reported hearing voices, footsteps, knocking sounds, and doors slamming.
- Olfactory: they have smelled the odor of cigarette smoke and dead animals in the home.
- Other: One of the children in the home has been seen playing with an “imaginary” playmate that she has named Audrey (or Aubrey). They also claim that their animals have been affected as well.

All baseline readings were within normal limits, and in fact, they were very low. Ambient noise was at a minimum, and did not pose any obstacle to the investigation.
Investigation Results
- EVP/Ghost Box Communication
- Class A EVP: None
- Class B EVP: 5
- Class C EVP: 19
- Ghost Box: 3
This is a pair of Class B EVPs we captured during the investigation. You will first hear Susie ask, 'So why can't you mess with us?' followed by the name 'Caleb'. You then hear another investigator ask 'What was that squeak?' followed by the second EVP saying, 'Was just a question'. Note: Both EVPs are clear, but very whispery, so you may need to grab your headphones and crank up the volume!

- In a series of photos taken by Tim of Chelsea sitting in the master bedroom closet, one of the photos is nearly black with virtually all of the light from the camera flash being blocked out. Interestingly enough, this coincides with how Troy described, (while sitting in the same closet) having a mass in front of him so dark that it made it impossible for him to see us all sitting in the master bedroom only a few feet away (see below).
- Video anomalies: None
- Personal Experiences:
· During the all-girl sit-down, a few of the ladies saw an unexplained light move across a wall in the hallway by the master bedroom.
· One of our home-owners, Denise and Susie all witnessed a shadow peeking out of the master bedroom, however, upon examination it was found that no one was there.
· While attempting to debunk the shadow the girls witnessed peeking out of the master bedroom, Susie asked if there was anyone in the room. There was immediately three distinct taps on the photo of a dog, that was on the dresser in the bedroom.
· While sitting on the bed in the master bedroom and looking out toward the living room, Christi saw what appeared to be a shadow looking out of the hallway to the kid’s rooms. Our client later verified that this is a phenomenon she has witnessed on many occasions.
· Some of the ladies began getting headaches while in the master bedroom, and Susie began to experience coloration (ringing) in her ears at the same time. The room was checked for EMF, however, there was virtually no EMF present in the room, nor was there any other explanation for the sudden onset of symptoms.
· While the P-pods were sitting in the hallway, both Josh and Christi noticed that the red light reflecting on the walls appeared to fluctuate and dim on several occasions, however, the red glow of the lights remained unchanged.
· While in the living room, Josh experienced a cold spot on his left side. Christi checked the temperature in the area, but it did not register the temperature drop.
· While sitting in the closet off the master bedroom, Tim began to experience a cold mass on his left side. A moment later, he had the sensation of being touched on his left arm. This sensation was not a tingly feeling, but rather, it felt like a solid mass literally pressing into his arm. Upon request, Chelsea entered the closet and felt Tim’s arms and verified that his left arm was much colder then his right.
· While sitting in the same closet, Troy began to feel a mild coolness developing around him. After stating that he felt like someone was in the closet with him, he described a dark mass moving in front of him and was soon unable to see us sitting just outside the closet door; nor were we able to see him.
· Denise described that as she and Tim were leaving the children’s room, the knob on the closet door in the hallway jiggled like it was trying to open. She told Tim and he went over to the door and asked if someone was inside, called "olly olly oxen free" and then opened the door; nothing was there. She then asked, “Do you like to play hide and seek?” She asked this while walking down the hall toward the living room. When she got to the end of the hallway by the front door; she was startled by something jingling to the left of her.
Conclusion
 After a careful review of all the audio and visual files gathered during the investigation, we found very little ‘concrete’ evidence of a haunting. That being said, every member of the FindersCreepers team experienced unexplained events during the investigation, and those events were seemingly paranormal in nature. Therefore we do believe that there is haunting taking place in the residence, and would love the opportunity to re-investigate the home in the near future in an attempt to gather more verifiable evidence to support our conclusion.
