Poltergeist
German word meaning noisy ghost or troublesome spirit. Poltergeist activity may include unexplained noises, movements of objects, outbreaks of fire, floods, pricks or scratches to a person's body. Unlike a haunting associated with a specific location, poltergeists typically focus on a person (the focal person or poltergeist agent) who is often a young child or adolescent. Many physical mediums experienced poltergeist activity in their childhood.

What You Can Expect
After receiving your Investigation Request, our Public Relations Manager will contact you to arrange an interview. This interview may be conducted in person, or over the phone depending on time and distance restraints. During this interview, you will be encouraged to discuss the haunting; or any other type of paranormal phenomenon you are experiencing. After the initial interview, we will spend a little time researching your case and will then get back with you to schedule the investigation.

Note: Investigations are listed in chronological order from bottom to top, (most recent cases first). |
Investigation Night
Upon our arrival to your home or business, our Lead Investigator will meet with you to tour the property and discuss any known "hot-spots" of supernatural activity. During this time, the rest of our paranormal investigators will be busy preparing our equipment and documenting the current weather conditions, etc. Once our tour is complete and the equipment is ready, we will then do a brief walk-through of the property to obtain baseline EMF (electro-magnetic fields) and temperature readings. After our baseline readings are gathered, we will have a brief team meeting and then proceed to conduct the investigation in a way we feel is best suited to the location and your unique situation.
A few things to keep in mind
-
For the best possibility of finding any credible evidence, it is very important that your home or business be free of all personnel except our team members. If any exceptions to this rule are agreed to, any additional personnel must agree to follow the directions and guidance of our lead investigator.
-
If possible, we prefer to shut off all power to the location during our investigation.
-
Please understand that our investigations are very time consuming. If you are planning on standing by while we are there, be prepared to stay up late. Our typical haunting investigation begins at 8pm and lasts as long as necessary. Not always, but at times, this may be until 3:00 or 4:00 o'clock in the morning.
-
We do not allow children to be present during the investigation; unless an exception is made in advance by our director and/or lead investigator. If a child is already scared of something they believe is taking place within the home, the sight of a group of “ghost hunters” along with all our gear can only validate their experiences and enhance their fears. Children are also, in many cases, very disruptive to the investigative process and will make the collection of untainted evidence very difficult to acquire.
-
No cats, dogs or other pets may be inside the building(s) during the investigation unless we feel that in some way they may aid us in the investigative process.
-
We put forth our greatest efforts during each and every paranormal investigation, however, our main goal is to help our clients understand what it is they are experiencing. In many cases, a logical explanation for the occurrences are found, and therefore we cannot guarantee that we will find evidence of a haunting or any other paranormal phenomenon.
Analysis
At the conclusion of the investigation, our investigators will all head home for some much needed rest. Over a period of the next two weeks, every member of our team will be in the process of analyzing all of the audio for EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). We will also be looking for any photographic and/or video evidence collected during the paranormal investigation. Any evidence we find is well documented and then shared with the other team members for alternative opinions. After all members are finished with the analysis, we will then discuss your case and determine what our next course of action should be.
Conclusion
At the end of the entire investigative process, we will schedule a follow-up meeting between yourself and 2-3 of our team members. This will typically include our Director, Public Relations Manager and an investigator of our choosing. During this meeting, we will give you an opportunity to review any evidence we found during the investigation. We will also discuss with you our findings, and provide you with a packet of information containing copies of our investigative paperwork, a summary and a CD containing all of the audio, photographs and video files recorded during the paranormal investigation. We will also discuss with you any further action we may feel is needed; whether it be by us, or simply suggestions on what you should do to once again feel safe and empowered in your home or business.

At FindersCreepers, your privacy is taken very seriously. Results of our paranormal investigations are released and/or posted on our website only if, and when we receive a signed letter of consent from you; even then, we do not list the exact location of the investigation or the names of the home or business owners unless it is expressly requested that we do so.
