Family and Site History
The home was constructed approximately six years ago on open land that was located on the historic Trail of Tears. There are a total of seven residents in the home, consisting of a blended family with strong Christian values. Activity in the house began approximately 3 ½ to four years ago, and range from voices and object manipulation to unexplained noises and sightings of shadow figures. The onset of activity corresponds to a time when renovations began in the home, which continue to this day.
Our client expressed concerns regarding what she suspected were entities that were connected to her own past; specifically, that of her deceased mother (Mary) and step-father (Sonny).
The Investigation
The Finders Creepers Team:

All baseline readings were within normal limits. With the exception of several ticking clocks and natural noises associated with the settling of the building, ambient noise was at a minimum, and did not pose any obstacle to the investigation.
Investigation Results
EVP/Ghost Box Communication:

Examples:
In this first example, we believe we hear a male voice saying, "How I told you... Tell Barbara please," followed by a feminine voice saying, "I love you."

In the second example, we picked up a female voice saying, "This is Mary." The voice was listened to by our client who emotionally stated that it was not only the voice of her deceased Mother, but said in the same tone that she would have used if she were still alive.

- KII Hits: None
- Unexplainable Battery Drain/Equipment Malfunctions: During the Ghost Box session, Tim’s digital camera inexplicably lost all battery power, even though prior to the investigation, Tim had put fresh batteries in the camera. The batteries were replaced, after which the camera functioned properly for the rest of the investigation.
- Photographic anomalies: None
- Video anomalies: None
- Personal Experiences: While in the master bedroom, Stephanie described the sensation of being touched on her left arm. Note: This cannot be considered evidence of a haunting; but merely a personal experience by one of our team members.
Conclusion
Although we found intriguing evidence during the Ghost Box session, and in spite of the personal experience by one member of the investigative team, there was no truly compelling evidence collected during the investigation to bring us to the conclusion that the home is haunted. This, however, does not mean that the homeowners are not experiencing paranormal phenomena. Personal experiences are not limited to a physical location; rather, they can occur at any time and/or place. Therefore, family members may still experience phenomena not associated with the familial structure; rather, they may be centered on one or more members of the family.
Based upon the Ghost Box captures, it seems that the spirit of Mary came through much more strongly than any other entity during the course of the investigation. It appears that although she may not be there all the time, Mary is a protective spirit in the home, and that no other spirits present pose any harm to the family members.
At times, people who experience a legitimate paranormal event will begin to decipher every unexplained happening in their home as being paranormal in nature, when in fact; many can be explained as natural phenomena. Whenever an unexplained occurrence happens, it is important to try to analyze the true cause. Only when natural explanations have been exhausted should the paranormal be considered.
Lastly
The Finders Creepers team would like to thank our client and her family for allowing us into their home on May 7, 2011 for an investigation into the phenomena they have been experiencing for the past several years. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their hospitality, and for the delicious cake they made for us. They have a beautiful home and a loving close-knit family. The environment they have created is much stronger than any negative energy or spirit that could ever try to cross into their home, and we truly believe they have nothing to fear at all.
