Family and Site History
The 2 bedroom, 1000 sq ft apartment has been occupied by our client, her ten year old daughter and their dog for 9 months. The mother is currently unemployed and receiving workman's compensation. Her daughter is a student. Our client is agnostic and claims that no religious clergy has been contacted regarding the reported activity. The only unexplained illnesses reported was the child having reoccurring strep throat, and our client who is hypoglycemic.
The occupants claim that the child typically has nightmares four times a week. Due to the fact that the clients reside in an apartment, we do not know how many previous owners, tragedies, deaths, or previous complaints have been associated with the residence.
The child was reported to be the first to experience the activity, when she believes she saw hands coming out of the wall to grab her. They claim
the activity occurs almost every night and lasts for most of the night. Phenomena they believe they are experiencing are listed below:
Mother: scratched on her back causing it to burn and become red, saw an apparition in the mirror, was told by a disembodied voice that “[She is] not alone, being touched while sleeping.
Child: reportedly experiences very disturbing “visions” in the shower of blood, apparition shows her its face / body in the mirror and in person, touches her, scratches her, moves objects, shuts doors, and has tried to choke her, and also caused her lunchbox to fly across the room.
They also claim to hear knocking on walls, whispering, moving chairs, and a smell similar to dead rat and rotten eggs. No electrical or plumbing problems have occurred. The family pet, they reported, has also been affected.
The child has not reported any of the activity she claims to be experiencing to anyone other than her mother; she stated that her father “doesn't believe in that kind of stuff”, so she hasn't told him.

The Investigation
The FindersCreepers Team Present:
Due to the nature of this case, the team felt that an all-female investigation would be interesting. We discussed with our client the idea of only the female members of our team arriving out of uniform, ordering some pizza and then investigating with only minimal experiment in order to maintain a very casual setting to help her daughter feel more at ease with the investigation.
Baseline Readings
Baseline EMF readings averaged between (0.0-3.1). Baseline Temperature readings averaged between 73-78 degrees Fahrenheit. All baseline readings were within normal limits, except for an extremely high reading in the hall that registered at (110.00) EMF. We were, however, able to debunk this as an EMF reading coming through the kitchen wall from the refrigerator. After unplugging it, the reading was (0.0).
Ambient noise was at a minimum for the majority of the investigation considering the proximity of the neighbors, and did not pose much obstacle to the investigation. Exterior noise was sporadic, and was marked on audio as it occurred by the investigators.

Investigation Results
- EVP/Ghost Box Communication
Class A EVP: 0
Class B EVP: 0
Class C EVP: 0
Ghost Box: 0
- EMF: The before mentioned EMF spike caused by the refrigerator was the only notable occurrence.
- KII Hits: Some KII hits were experienced that could possibly have been intelligent, however, this is not sufficient enough evidence to claim that a haunting is taking place.
- Photographic anomalies: None
- Video anomalies: None
- Personal Experiences:
-While separately interviewing each family member in the master bedroom, the KII meter seemed to be responding intelligently to us at times. However, these are merely personal experiences, and cannot be documented as substantial evidence.
Conclusion
After careful review of all the visual and audio files gathered during the investigation, we found very little concrete evidence of a haunting. While there was some KII activity (which is an indication of paranormal activity), it is in itself not sufficient to bring us to the conclusion that the apartment is indeed haunted.
Cleansing
A non-denominational cleansing was performed by Christi and Denise using sage, holy water, and prayers. Upon their exiting of the home, our client informed us that she felt like the entity had followed them to her car, where they had been waiting until the cleansing was complete. Upon their request, we also did a cleansing of the car, while Laura counseled them.
