Haunting Investigation of a Residence

Ghost Debunked in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma
On September 28th, 2010, at 2:30 in the morning, I received a message from a woman in Central Oklahoma. In her letter, she explained that she was so afraid that she was literally writing to me with tears in her eyes. After determining that her letter was a sincere request for our help, I called the team together and we made this investigation our #1 priority.
The investigation took place on the night of October 2nd, 2010.
Present for the Investigation were Tim, Susie, Christi, Rose, Season and Alberto. Weather conditions were cool and clear.
We started with a walk-through of the location. A site grid was prepared and all base-line readings were documented. After the walk-through, we decided to split into pairs and began our investigation.
During this phase of our investigation, we had no personal experiences... well, except for this amazing moment that was shared by our Founder, (Tim Doyon) and our newest investigator, (Rose Linden). We are sharing it with you now for you personal amusement! - lol

After a good laugh and our team investigations were completed, it was decided that we would bring the family in for a group sit-down. It was at this time that we began to experience some interesting knocks and scraping sounds. We immediately became suspicious of the interactivity of the sounds we were experiencing and decided to use our night vision cameras to catch our ghost in the act.
And we did.
As you can see by the video, our client was not being haunted by a ghost. Instead, it was her fiancé that was causing all the ruckus in the house. Not only was he scraping with his toes, but he was using his cane to create the thumping sounds we had all experienced.
Once the evidence was on tape, Tim concluded the investigation and asked the team to gather our gear and load the vehicles. Our client was taken aside and privately shown our evidence. We told her that despite the obvious deception involved, we would proceed with the analysis of our media files and would let her know if we found anything at all that we considered to be truly paranormal in nature.
We did not. The house was quiet... virtually no EVP, (Electronic Voice Phenomena) were recorded. Nothing on video. Photo's were clean except for the occasional dust orb.
I received a letter a few days later from our client. She said that her fiancé had admitted to his trickery... she was embarrassed about her fiancé's actions, apologetic, and sincerely grateful to the team.
I guess the point is this: We are Paranormal Investigators... Researchers of the unknown. We are a team of people dedicated to documenting the supernatural and helping our neighbors when they are experiencing something they can not explain. On this night, we did just that... we helped our neighbor. At least for now, she can sleep.... and I have a funny feeling that the next time a ghost knocks on the wall in her room, he just might get an elbow to the gut.
