Mission Statement
Our Ghost Hunting Tools

Some of the equipment we use during our paranormal research and ghost hunting investigations.

Foam Filled Case

All of our gear is transported safely in foam packed cases. There are several benefits to using these types of cases.

  • It protects your gear from damage and moisture,
  • It keeps everything organized,
  • Helps to keep track of your gear, (any empty spots indicate you are missing something)
  • Easy transport.

Digital Camera

Every member on the team carries with them a high-quality digital camera. They are essential on every investigation.

Infrared (IR) Laser Thermometer

Along with ambient air thermometers, we also carry a Digital IR Laser Thermometer. These allow you to obtain base-line readings at the location you're investigating, as well as monitoring temperature changes. These are not ideal for cold-spots however, for those you need a fast reading ambient air thermometer.

Digital Voice Recorder

Digital Recorders are as essential as any gear we carry. We use several of these during each invest; some we leave in specific locations, and some we carry with us. We have captured countless EVP with them and wouldn't even consider doing an invest without them. The Olympus WS-210 is our favorite model due to its large memory capacity, super-easy transfer of files to the PC and it's stereo recording.

EMF Field Tester

We use several types of EMF detectors during our investigations. We like this model because of it's ability to read in both tesla and miligauss.

Flashlights

We carry an assortment of flashlights during our investigations. These are but a few of the ones we carry. In our arsenal is everything from small pen-lights to large, very powerful spotlights. Like most Paranormal Investigators, we cannot pass a rack of lights without drooling just a bit - they are absolutely our guilty pleasure.

Ghost Box

This is a Ghost Box we carry with us. With this box we are sometimes able to accomplish a real-time communication with ghosts and/or spirits.

The Ghost Box.

Ghost Meter (EMF Detector)

Our Ghost Meter is another form of an EMF Sensor. It utilizes a highly sensitive needle gauge, light and sound to alert us to the presence of high EMF.

K-II Meter (EMF Detector)

Yet another EMF Detector is the K-II Meter. Instead of a digital readout or needle gauge, the K-II uses a series of lights to alert us of high EMF. This makes it perfect for those times when it is too dark to see the readouts of some of our other detectors.

Motion Detector

Motion detectors have the ability to see infrared heat signatures and sound an alarm when they detect motion. We have in the past experience alarms sounding prior to the activations of our EMF Sensors, cold spots, etc.

Portable Radio for White Noise

We carry a portable crank radio to give us a source of white noise when it is very quiet and we are trying to record for EVP. We believe that ghosts and/or spirits have the ability to manipulate the white noise to help them form words and try to communicate with us.

Video Camera with Night Vision and Increased IR (Infrared) Lighting

We carry a Sony video camera with Night Vision and have an extra IR light source to aid in our ability to record video in pitch darkness.

Geiger Counter/Radiation Meter

The Geiger Counter, (Radiation Meter) detects gamma radiation. In theory; a ghost/spirit that is in the process of manifesting my produce some kind of radiation.

Strobe Light

A strobe light causes moving objects to appear to move slower then they actually are. Our theory is that by using one, we may detect an apparition sooner and thereby increase our chances of actually catching it in a photograph or on film.

P-Pods, ( Tim's version of a static electricity sensor)

This is my version of a static electricity sensor. They have the ability to detect static electricity in the surrounding area and are so sensitive that they can detect the static on a balloon as it floats by several feet away.

Note: If you are interested in purchasing a few P-Pods for your own use, please email me and I would be very happy to consider building a few for you at a very reasonable price. I will be posting a video demonstration of the lights soon!

Green Laser Grid

We have recently added a Green Laser Grid System to our arsenal of ghost hunting tools. This incredible device sends hundreds of laser beams throughout a room and can be attached to our night vision cameras to keep the laser grid in front of us during walk-through investigations. We believe it is possible that the beams could illuminate something in the room we may not otherwise see; such as a mist, fog, smoke or even an apparition. It is also possible that we will be able to see shadows moving through the laser beams.

Thermal Leak Detector

This amazing device was a gift from our friend Ron Cross, (Founder of P.R.O.S. Investigations). The Thermal Leak Detector is much like a standard infrared thermometer, however, it has the added benefit of producing a light beam that changes color when it senses temperature changes. For example: the green light will change to blue when it detects a temperature drop, (such as the cold spot that can be produced by a ghost or spirit). If a warm spot is located, the beam will turn to red.

Although FindersCreepers never charges for a paranormal investigation, please know that our work is very time-consuming & expensive. Any donations we receive are always gratefully accepted and very-much appreciated. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer!
